Sub Crawl

Build your Glasgow Subway pub crawl. Run it on your phone. Score it like golf.

Pick a start station, which way round the Clockwork Orange and how far you're going. Sub Crawl lines up a pub at every stop, works out your drinks and your leave-by times, and packs the whole plan into one link you can send to the group. On the night, go live and everyone's phone shares a single scorecard — par in sips, birdies and bogeys, Stableford points on the board.

  • Build in 90 seconds

Station, direction, how far, pubs, drinks. Swap any stop for your own pub.

  • Live scoring

Par in sips, birdies and bogeys. Everyone's phone updates as scores go in.

  • Works offline

The plan lives in the link. No sign-up needed to build or share.

Build a crawl

Pick a start station, which way round and how far you're going. Swap pubs and drinks until it's right, then share the whole thing by link — nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

How it works

  1. Build

Start station, direction, how far. A pub and a drink at every stop, each with a par in sips.

  2. Share the link

The whole plan packs into one short link. Send it to the group; everyone opens the same crawl.

  3. Go live, share the code

Tap "Go live" on the night. Your crew joins with a five-character code and every phone shows one scorecard.

  4. Score sips vs par

Count the sips it takes to finish each drink. Under par is good. Points go on the leaderboard as you go.

Golf, but the club is a glass

Every stop has a par in sips (a pint is 6, a half 3, a glass of wine 4, a shot 1). Your score at that stop is diff = sips − par. Fewer sips than par is a good thing.

Golf terms and Stableford points
Sips vs parTermPoints
exactly 1 sipHole in oneat least 5

+1Bogey1

Stableford points = 2 − diff, capped between 0 and 6, so one disastrous stop can't sink your night (−3 is an Albatross, −4 or better a Condor, +3 a Triple bogey). The leaderboard ranks total points first, then total vs par.

Play safe

18+ only. Pace yourself, drink water, eat something and never drive. Nobody has to drink alcohol — Soft / Zero counts as a full stop — and any rule can be skipped, no questions. Pubs change hours and close, so check before you go. The last subway is around 23:40 Mon–Sat and 18:10 on Sundays; sort a way home before it goes.
